Responding to: “All things are lawful.” – 11 September, 2018

Today, 11 September, 2018, we are addressing a very difficult statement appearing in 1 Corinthians 6, “All things are lawful for me.” Did Paul actually dismiss with the Torah’s instruction here, claiming that all things were lawful? Or, as is commonly proposed in more technical commentaries, is “All things are permitted for me” a slogan held by a sector of Corinthians, which Paul is refuting? Part 1 of 2
